Josiah challenged us to rethink heaven not primarily as a destination after death, but as God's kingdom breaking into the present. Drawing from Jesus' teaching, John Ortberg's Eternity Is Now in Session, and his own experiences in disability ministry, he argued that the way we imagine heaven shapes how we live today. Rather than seeing heaven as an escape, he invited us to envision a kingdom marked by belonging, accessibility, generosity, justice, and inclusion—and then become active participants in bringing that vision to our homes, neighborhoods, and communities by following the example of Jesus.
